Later…

I usually don’t post two pieces in the same day, but I couldn’t resist sharing these pictures. It sure looks like Clif and I live in the frozen north. I guess, in a way, we do, but at least we still have our power.

  1. If you have power, you have lights to read by, ability to make hot coffee or tea, and keep the wine or beer cold – all good things. 🙂 I probably should refrain from telling you I walked on the beach in a long sleeved t-shirt. 🙂

  2. We’ve had crazy wind all day, and rain yesterday, so I think we have the southern end of what’s getting you. Too warm for snow. The cardinals are singing their spring song, so that makes me ready for spring as well.

    1. Jodie, I’m sure that’s right. Love the sound of cardinal’s singing their spring song. Needless to say, they aren’t singing in Maine.

  3. Love that picture of Dad! Winter has definitely come! And more to come for Wednesday/Thursday for you guys too – they’re calling for another 10-14 inches. Yikes!

Shared these pictures with Ruth – she was suitably impressed! Make sure to take more after your next round!

    1. Where are we going to put more snow? We’ll have to throw it high. I will take pictures after the next round. Be sure to tell Ruth I’m thinking of her during this snow time. Perhaps she’d like to come up for a visit in February? 😉

      1. I told her that another storm was coming tomorrow and she almost fell over. She’s concerned that you’re not going to be able to see out the windows because the snow will be too high! I think the chances of her wanting to visit in February are pretty slim!! 😛

      2. Tee-hee! Me, too. I was, of course, being a wiseacre. Tell her, so far, so good. We can still see out the windows 😉

      3. I passed along your invitation – she cracked up and said “Thanks but no thanks!” and that the two-three inches that we got back in January was enough for her for the whole winter! 🙂

  4. We didn’t lose power either–amazing. I also am impressed that your little snowblower handles all that. Do you use it for the driveway too?

    1. Yes, it does the driveway, too. We have a short driveway, and if it were any longer, then we’d have to use something else.
