Oh my goodness your snow is beautiful! But please keep it there — I am happy to enjoy it through photos. Our lawn is still green here — wet and cold, but green all the same!
I’ll try not to send it your way.
Great pictures, thanks for sharing.
My pleasure!
Lovely images. Now get inside in the warm
That I did. Although the weather was brisk rather than cold.
Wowsah! It looks beautiful Laurie, I love the fresh snow and Winter wonderland 🤗💖 xxx
Me, too! I actually like winter, until March rolls around. 😉
Snow, snow, snow, making everything fresh and white! At least it wasn’t ice! We oldsters worry about falls.
You bet we do! Very glad there was no ice.
Oh gosh! Everything has turned into a shelf for snow.
Yes! The snow falls on everything.
Beautiful! – Here comes winter!
Yes, here it comes!

Quite the blow for our first big storm of the season. I’m trying to stay focused on the beauty of it all and not that we won’t see the lawn again until April. 😉
Yup. Winter is long in northern New England. Good thing for me I’m one of those weirdos who actually likes winter. 😉
Brrrrrrr!
A little brisk but lovely.
Now that I would not be ready for yet…though it’s beautiful. I hope your larder is well stocked!
Not unusual for Maine. And my larder is always well stocked. 😉
Gosh! Look at that snow!
Brisk but invigorating and best of all, no ice!
So snowy! I love that first photo of your frog absolutely covered in snow! Gave me a giggle! 😀
Is that there to stay or will it come and go before winter is out?
All depends on the year. In the old days, the snow would be here to stay until the end of March. Nowadays, it’s anyone’s guess.
Brrrrrr…
Stunning photography!!
Many thanks! Brisk but invigorating.
Fresh fallen snow speaks such an eloquent language, Laurie.
Enjoy! ❄❄❄
Many thanks! It surely does.
I love all the photos you showed because none of them include shoveling. 🙂
Also, we only got three inches of snow, which meant clean-up was pretty easy.
Well you did have me wondering how you managed to get a stone frog (or toad) balanced on a stick but then I noticed the outline so I think you might have been busy in the editing suite having some fun. Your header always makes me laugh – it looks as if you’re giving one of your stone pals a bubble bath 🐸
The frog is metal and is attached to a post. No trick photography. Glad you like the header! Does look like bubble bath.
Hmm. I’m not convinced 🤣
I quite liked the idea that you outlined a photo of one of your stone frogs and photoshopped it onto a stick. Any reason you would have had for doing such a thing is obviously a question for my fevered imagination.🤪
Tee hee!
Lovely snowy images… including a covered over frog! Nice to look at but I don’t think I’d like more than a day or two of it!
Very normal—and somewhat mild—for those of us who live in Maine. 😉
Yes, Nature’s extreme nature makes us very strong!!
Love the wonderful snow and photos!!
Thanks so much!
A beautiful picture books for adults! Maybe you should publish one of these!! Great idea, to tell your story with pictures!
Many thanks!
