  1. What a sweet photo of your cozy house nestled in snow— a lovely winter view like a postcard from Maine. When I was there about 40 years ago in the Fall I was amazed to see the barns attached to the houses. Maine winters were explained to me but I continued to fantasize about living in Maine…only the fantasy then included a home someplace warmer during the coldest monthes. I am a total wimp when it comes to ice and snowstorms!

    1. Very practical to have a barn attached to a house. This means you don’t have to slog through the snow to take care of the animals. Plenty of Mainers feel the way you do and head South for the winter. πŸ˜‰
