So cosy and magical Laurie, hope you’re all keeping warm π€πβ xxx
Thanks, Xenia! We are indeed.
Ouch! Too much snow.
Actually, not that much for Maine.
Looks lovely. We had blowing sleet and snow squalls today. Obviously a front is moving through and I think Winter may be riding it.
Lovely fantastical image of winter riding the front.
So cute & cozy – love the title!
Thanks, Jodie!
Loving Maya 2, Laurie – It’s my treat before bed each night.
Oh, thanks so much! Wonderful to hear.
What a beautiful winter scene!π I think weβre going to set a record this year for our least amount of snow.
Many thanks!
I love the deep red colour of the house… tucked so well into the snow …π
Thanks so much!
What a sweet photo of your cozy house nestled in snow— a lovely winter view like a postcard from Maine. When I was there about 40 years ago in the Fall I was amazed to see the barns attached to the houses. Maine winters were explained to me but I continued to fantasize about living in Maine…only the fantasy then included a home someplace warmer during the coldest monthes. I am a total wimp when it comes to ice and snowstorms!
Very practical to have a barn attached to a house. This means you don’t have to slog through the snow to take care of the animals. Plenty of Mainers feel the way you do and head South for the winter. π
Tucked in and warm and cozy and no doubt content, indeed!
Yes, yes! I love the quiet of January.
I’m torn between “magical” and “brrrrr….”. I think I’ll just stick to looking at pictures of snow and leave it to you.
Both are appropriate.
