Wow! I hate to advertise my ignorance, but what variety of asters(?) are these exactly…or are they mums? XOXOXO
Now it’s time for me to admit my ignorance—I don’t know! They may very well be mums. I took them at Savage Oaks in Union, and they were indeed planted with other mums. Whatever they are, those purple flowers sure are pretty.
My favorite September flower! Always makes me think of my birthday!
Thanks, Gayle, and happy birthday!
Absolutely beautiful, Laurie!
Thanks, Clare.
Thanks so much!
So pretty!
Thanks, Jodie.
Beautiful photo.
Thanks, Sandra!
Many thanks!
Hi Laurie! I think those are asters. Very pretty!
I thought so, too, Betsy.
Absolutely beautiful 🙂
Best wishes!
Many thanks!
Great photo – we just planted some. Great autumn flowers.
So lovely!
Our purple Asters boomed in August and dwindled in September. Lovely, though the timing seemed off. I have clipping them to spread seeds to new locations along the driveway. We will see if they naturalize there. — Oscar
Hope you are successful. How lovely to have them blazing along the driveway.
