Here is the trailer for my new podcast, Tales from the Other Green Door, which is an offshoot of my novel Out of Time. The first episode will drop on Wednesday, March 10. Hope you will join me!

Oh how lovely! I must listen to this. The trailer makes it sound like a lot of fun.
Thanks so much!
Hi, Laurie – Your trailer is AWESOME and definitely left me wanting more (including one of those yummy croissants). See you there!
Many thanks! See you at The Other Green Door.
Sounds like fun!
Thanks, Eliza!
Good luck with it/ I still have no sound on the computer, but if I ever do I will be sure to listen. 🙂
Hope you can hear my dulcet voice sometime soon. 😉
I am going to try to get the sound working on the computer – you and LA are now both doing podcasts. The sound did work on my old computer – this is most annoying.
I am so out of step, have never listened to a podcast. Allan does though! I’m a bad listener; he would agree. 😉
I LOVE podcasts and listen to them all the time as I’m doing chores or am on my exercise bike, that road to nowhere. Feel very privileged to be able to listen to so many wonderful conversations and stories.
I might be saving them for if my vision wanes and it becomes hard to read.
I am listening to the podcast now. Good to hear your voice!
Thanks, Lavinia. Fun to hear a person’s voice when you’ve only read his or her words.
So excited to hear your voice. I am looking forward to grabbing a coffee and my crochet and enjoying your podcast.
Thanks so much. I remember what a treat it was to hear your voice.
🙂
Good to hear your beautiful reading voice
Why, thank you, Derrick!
Yes Laurie, it sounds great! Can’t wait to hear more and share in the croissants 😉❤️
Thanks, Kellie!
All sounds very interesting, you do work hard.
Thanks, Susan!
How wonderful to hear your voice!
Oh, thanks! I, too, enjoy hearing the voices of my blogging friends.
It’s so funny when you imagine how somebody will sound and often be completely wrong. I like your accent and your storytelling delivery is spot on. The podcast venture sounds as if it will be lots of fun for all concerned.
Oh, thanks so much! Did you imagine my accent sounding different than it does? I, too, am often surprised by the sound of someone’s voice.
This sounds like a lot of fun Laurie, good luck with your new podcast! 🍀
Many thanks!
That is SO COOL!
Thanks, Dawn!
Wonderful!
Oh, many wishes for the best of luck, Laurie!
Thanks, Debbie!
How lovely to hear you, Laurie as we only exchange words over blogs, it is really special to hear a blogger friend’s voice.
The trailer sounds really intriguing and it finishes with a croissant! Yum! Best of luck with the launch, Laurie. It will do well, no doubt.
A-w-w-w, thanks! Yes, it is lovely to actually hear a blogger’s voice.
😁
Wow, Laurie! I’m impressed with your tireless inventiveness!
My goodness! Thank you!
I hope you are enjoying this new venture, but I’m guessing you need a schedule to hit all your deadlines. 🙂
Yup, and plenty of work, too. No rest for the wicked. 😉
Ooh, this sounds like fun! Also, I like the illustration, which is atmospheric and intriguing. What IS that cross looking critter pictured to the left and right of the top line of signage, and also on the door? Perhaps we’ll find out next week?
Nice that you noticed the critter! You will find out soon, but not next week. 😉
How exciting and looking forward to the first episode!! Fabulous artwork and music and enjoyed hearing your voice!
Oh, thanks so much!
How exciting! I really enjoyed hearing your voice and look forward to listening to your tales.
Thanks so much, Robin. Fun hearing voices, isn’t it, when you’ve only read a person’s written words?
Laurie! So COOL to hear you talking to me! And I loved the intro and outro (?) music. So perfect. It sounded so well produced! My husband is a sound engineer & I know how hard it is to get things sounding good.
This is so exciting!
BTW – I am in the middle of your book and it is AMAZING! I am not a young reader and not a fan of fantasy, usually, but the story is SO GOOD. I just can’t wait to see what happens next.
Keep it up!
A-w-w-w, thanks so much! Such kind words. Yes, it is hard to get things to sound right. When we record, we sit in the dining room with the curtains drawn, to muffle any noises, and the heat is off so there will be no fans or blowers in the background. Gets a little chilly. How we suffer for art. 😉
Wow – It’s crazy that you get such good sound from your home. Great job! It was so interesting and really fun to listen to.
Congratulations Laurie!
How do you keep up with all these projects?!!!!! I am in awe.
Now I know what you sound like – I just listened to the trailer …. can’t wait for Ep 1!
Thanks, Ju-Lyn! Isn’t it fun to discover what someone sounds like? Especially when that person lives in another country.
It is rather exciting!
I am a big fan of podcasts, and the voices of the hosts play a big part in whether I continue to listen or not. Yours, my friend, I am so thrilled to say, is a voice I could listen to for hours!
Thanks so very much! What a lovely compliment.
Many thanks! If you could see the state of my house, you would know how I keep up with all these projects. 😉
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wow! and yay!!
Thanks!
