Lovely!
Thanks, Rupali!
Beautiful! I love those colors.
Many thanks!
Well spotted
Thanks, Derrick!
Interesting interchange of colors.
Thanks, Gayle!
How tender this is! Great colours too.
Thanks so much!
That’s a beautiful composition, Laurie!
We are under fire evacuation order level 1 at this time, GP. Level 1 here in Oregon is βGet readyβ, Level 2 is βGet setβ, Level 3 is βLeave immediatelyβ. The sky was a dark as Mordor yesterday. Took a good 1/2 hour to get through the gasoline line downtown. High winds have died down, mostly, and smoke at ground level is thick. Cars and cat carriers are ready to go. The town just south of us is at Level 2 now.
Oh, my gosh! How horrible! And your description of the sky made me afraid for the two of you and your cats and anyone else in your area. Take care, take care and please keep me posted if you have the chance. I will be thinking about you.
Lavinia, where is your place on the map? Somehow, I couldn’t find Sweet Home. Just not looking in the right place? Oh, stay safe!
Lavinia, where are you? I just talked to friends in Jacksonville this evening; they’re safe for now, in the mountains west of Medford, but have family graves, doctors, and such in Talent — or what’s left of it. I found the interactive fire map online, so I can keep track of what’s happening.
So horrible! I can’t stop thinking about Lavinia, Rick, and their cats. I so hope that the fire misses them.
Your hosta leaf looks like it’s wearing a brooch!
Nice! I hadn’t thought of that but it really does.
The fact that you noticed this shows how observant you are. Hi Laurie. Enjoy the rest of the week.
Many thanks!
This is such a brilliant contrast. You have a remarkable photographer’s eye!
Thanks so much for the lovely compliment.
Oh, VERY nice! β€
They look so lovely together Laurie π§‘
Many thanks! And that’s exactly how the leaf fell.
Mother Nature knows how to paint a picture for sure. π
She surely does, and this one was untouched by my human hand.
I like a hosta anyway and the little addition made it even better.
It sure did. And I took the picture exactly as it was with no arranging at all.
Lovely to catch such a perfect match!
You bet! And it was all Mother Nature’s doing. I did absolutely no arranging.
Beautiful capture!π
Thank you!
I love your hosta … we donβt have enough shade to have gorgeous leaves like that.
Thanks! At our home in the woods, shade is one thing we have in abundance.
What a beautiful picture.
Many thanks!

Many thanks!
Well look at you getting more arty farty with your camera by the day π
Tee-hee! Believe it or not, that’s exactly the way I found it. I didn’t arrange a thing. Even though I must admit that sometimes I do. π
Cool.
Thanks, Jason!
