If I ever wonder if winter is upon us, I know it’s coming when I see this picture. 🙂 27° this morning. Brr.
Winter is coming.
So sad! We packed away all of our lawn furniture and various gnomes, pigs, and turtle figurines for the winter yesterday.
Very sad. Not everything is in yet, but almost.
Aww, we hope the birds and squirrels will keep the lonely patio company over the Winter xxx
They do! And we keep the feeders filled.
Sigh….
Yes…Miss those patio nights.
That picture tells the tale. We aren’t there, yet. In fact, today is stunning. Sunny and almost 70. It’s about the first really nice fall day. As late as it is – it could be the last, too.
Much warmer where you are, that’s for sure.
Very autumnal.
A carpet of leaves soon to be swept up by the lawn mower.
I can never get over how a garden can be full of Summer colour and then desolate in a few months.. 😥
So true and so sad.
Ahhh! Poor little patio! Just look at all those leaves!
I know! The patio is now free of leaves, with the yard soon to follow. 😉
I always get verklempt at this time of year, with the move indoors. Then I remember how much I love my fireplace and am happy again!
I know just what you mean. Alas, we have no fireplace to console us during the long dark of winter.
A perfect photo for the season with the combination of the lonely patio and all those leaves.🙂
Yes, yes!

How sad.
Yes, yes!
