This year there were new traditions, with a few old ones thrown in.
Among other things we had pumpkin bread,
a most excellent salad,
and stuffed shells.
This all led to a plateful of food.
And last but not least, dessert!
Good thing for our waistlines that Thanksgiving comes but once a year.
All looks delicious, i could almost smell the food.
It was pretty tasty, if I do say so myself. ๐
Looks delicious, and you are so right about our waistlines not being able to handle many of these food filled holidays. ๐
Time to cut back until the next round.
It looks delicious Laurie, hope you all had a fabulous time! โบ๐ xxx
Many thanks!
Gosh, I didn’t realize I was hungry until I opened this post! ๐ Glad you had a fine day.
Thanks, Eliza! Hope you had a scrummy day, too.
Looks wonderful, Laurie! I hope you had time to relax too.
Not much time to relax, but the workload felt manageable.
Yum yum.
The food was pretty tasty.
It all looks delicious – I’m sure no one was disappointed by the absence of turkey
Those stuffed shells were pretty darned good, as my Yankee husband might say.
๐
It all looks delicious. I love stuffed shells (and manicotti, ravioli, lasagna …)
Many thanks! It’s all good.
Looks wonderful and I would vote for the new stuffed shells tradition over turkey!๐
We all agreed that stuffed shells are a fine, new tradition.
You can invite me over to dinner any time, Laurie. This meal sounds fabulous. I’ve also never had pumpkin bread, but it sounds yummy!
If you come to Maine, and you will be invited. ๐ The pumpkin bread came out pretty well, if I do say so myself. I’ll be making more for Christmas.
Thank you! That pumpkin bread could do it….
Everything looks wonderful, Laurie!
That looks delish! We had a very traditional meal–it was good but I thought about your shells and envied you a little!
Thanks, Kerry! The stuffed shells were a big hit, and they will become a new tradition.
That looks excellent.
