I noticed yesterday, in northern Illinois, that a flowering crab apple tree had pink buds on it. That can’t work out well!
No, indeed! Wild temperature fluctuations are no good.
Here too…daffodils are up and rhubarb too. Just not right.
Holy guacamole! Daffodils and rhubarb in January! Today, the temperatures are back to where they should be, but yesterday, it was 50 degrees. Now that’s quite a thaw for Maine.
Actually, both made an appearance back in December :O
