There is a sweet stray kitty that hangs around our house. He hides in the hosta and later I find beautiful blue jay feathers on our lawn. It is part of the natural world but so sad. I better understand why my nephew is vegan.
Beth, I know just how you feel. I hate it when Sherlock catches a birds. But, as you mentioned, it is part of the natural world, and cats are predators. Also, in all likelihood, if that stray cat doesn’t hunt, then it doesn’t eat. So…
