Sliced or cooked, they are delicious this time of year. Enjoy.
Thanks, Judy! So good.
Something special to look forward to. We get apples throughout the year here, so I regard them as ‘basic’ fruit. Still, I stewed some the other day with raisins and a little brown sugar and they were delicious.
In Maine, they are only really, really fresh in the fall. We do, however, get apples from other places.
I can hardly wait! Even Monkey loves apples, you know.
Let’s hear it for apples!
I love that we can get so many new varieties now, but the old-fashioned ones do best for pies, applesauce, and crisps. Since they don’t grow well in Texas, waiting for the new crop is an autumn ritual.
Yes, yes. But the new varieties are great for snacking, which is how we mostly eat them nowadays.
Lovely colors.
I love apples…I chop one up on my oatmeal in the morning, and often have another one (which a slice of cheese) later in the day. Yummy. Yours look beautiful!
Same! Apples are one of my favorites.
Beautiful apples!
And very, very tasty, too!
Looks like you have a few different kinds there. Maybe Golden Delicious along with Macs?
You can never have too many 🍎!
Gold delicious and a variety called Jonagold, a cross between a Jonathon and a golden delicious. Both oh so good!
I’ve seen Jonagold in the store…I’ll put them on my list.
😉

They are very, very tasty.
Those apples look as if they have been pick straight from the tree, which is always lovely. Enjoy!
They were pretty darned fresh and oh so good.
For sure.
Wonderful and fresh.
New season apples are such a treat.
They surely are! Always look forward to fresh Maine apples in the fall.
A good crop
Fresh apples are such a treat.
Yummy. Our apple season is almost over. Or might be, but it does seem the growing season has been extended this year. We still have tomatoes coming in.
It is amazing how long the tomatoes have lasted.
We lived in apple-knocker country when my son was in first grade. The kids in his class got to taste apple varieties and pick a favorite. He picked Empire. My favorites: Macoun, Cortland, Macintosh.
All good!
Delicious looking apples Laurie and what a wonderful harvest! 💚
Yes, indeed!
You’ll have no problems keeping the doctor at bay! 😉
Yum!
You bet! So delicious in the fall.
Your apples look really special.
Utterly delicious!
Love it!

Many thanks! No, the peppers are sweet.
Sweet! The carrots look exactly to my taste too.
Those carrots are sweet!
It is that time of year! The best apples are the ones eaten right off the tree while watching a sunset. 🙂
