All right. It is time to come clean. The other day, when I was shopping, I succumbed to temptation, which in my defense, is something I don’t normally do.Β Usually, I have a list, and I stick to it. But readers, when my eyes spied Christmas ornaments in Maya blue, what could I do? Into the cart they went, along with other silver and white ornaments to complement the blue.
I must admit that I am delighted with the results.
Well, Christmas comes but once a year, and we’ll be enjoying those Maya blue ornaments for many, many seasons. A lovely reminder of when Maya was published.
Just lovely!! π
The tree looks great. Besides, I love this shade of blue!
It is nicely decorated. How wonderful that Maya arrived at Christmas time. I’m sure she approves.
What a great keepsake! The tree looks beautiful. π
Beautiful job – and great memories of a special time.
I have to tell you how much I love the book! For the first page, I was thinking of you, and how you wrote it. But all of a sudden it was way past my bedtime and I was still reading. Totally engrossing. Can’t wait till bedtime tonight (when I get to read). Loving your book!
Oh, thanks so much, Jodie!
Very pretty – a perfect way to commemorate your book!
It is a beautiful blue and very timely too. Well found, Laurie.
Thanks so much!
How rash π
For me it is π
Lovely indeed. Maya-blue, eh? A new shade? (smile)
Indeed it is! I’ve been thinking about writing a post about it π
A lovely tree.
Thanks, Jason!
The Christmas tree looks lovely – money well spent, even if it wasn’t planned. π
Many thanks!
