Today is a day of errands. Clif and I will soon be heading to the big city—Augusta, population 19,000. It’s supposed to snow later this afternoon, and the older we get, the less we like driving on snowy roads. So there is not much time to write this morning.
I do, however, want to share these three pictures I took yesterday. Looking at them made me smile. Our Liam loves the snow and the woods. Truly, he a dog of the north.
Pretty boy!!
He has loved the snow from the time he was a little puppy!! π I remember as the snow started to melt that first year, he would find the tiny patches of snow still remaining in the back yard and lay on those!
He certainly looks happy out there exploring the white stuff. We’ve got almost a whiteout going on right now so get your errands done and head home so you’re be all safe and sound when it heads north to you. π
Judy, just as we got home, the first snowflakes started falling. Good timing for us!
I would love the snow too if I was born with a fur coat π I hope you had a good day in Augusta. Did you take Liam with you?
A natural fur coat certainly helps. As does growing up in this climate, something I’ll be writing about today. Yesterday, Liam stayed home. We only bring him when there is a walk in the mix.
He certainly has the coat for it!
He certainly does!
I can relate – I always say, I like the snow and can enjoy winter, but driving in snowy weather is something I rather dread. Take care on the roads. Lovely pictures, how beautiful your dog is… And it looks like he can hamdle the north with that coat. π
Liam’s thick coat serves him well in the winter. In the summer, not so much. Poor boy is miserable. But right now he is in his element.

Typos happen! I make more than my fair share.
He’s such a lovely boy. It looks like he and Zoe are fellow snow-worshippers!
Yes, they are!
Covered in snow here too, Chalrey had a blast! xo Johanna
