Asking for a piece of sculpture that will look fabulous sticking up through the snow.
Someday, perhaps…
Your patio looks ready for Winter, hope you’re all keeping cosy and warm Laurie 🤗💖 xxx
Someday, Spring will return!
Indeed it will!
We are!
My sweetheart would suggest a bottle tree… or two… or a forest.
The forest is not far away. 😉
I guess it will remain lonely till April or so. See you —

Indeed it will.
It does look cold…..
A bit brisk, as we Mainers might say.
Yep, our place looks the same except the grill is even in the barn. 🙂
Northern New England. Except for England, there is no place I would rather be.
I’m still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that it’s mid-November. Your photos are helping!
Glad to oblige!
It’s that time of year! A great excuse to stay at our desk and get a lot of writing done. 🙂
It certainly is.
Lonely…but still beautiful!
How many days until enjoying cocktails on the patio?😁
Quite a few. 😉
Some possible snow is in our forecast for next week. Too soon!
Right now it is raining, and the snow is all gone. Weird weather.
To be honest, I was expecting more snow. Since discovering that J B Fletcher has systematically lied to me I now think of Maine as covered in snow from October until the muddy season.
Typically, snow didn’t come to central Maine until December, but with the climate crisis, all bets are off.
Yes. Tootlepedal mentions the Gulfstream in a recent post – if that stops flowing we are in serious trouble in the UK.
Oh, I hope it doesn’t! You are even farther north than we are.
I didn’t realise we were that far North. Oh dear! 😦
