I love the way light plays on snow at different times of day, in different weather, temperatures, in early winter, in early spring… How lucky we are to live in a place where we can experience this.

It’s my understanding that the Chapel Hill area is quite progressive, so that might make a big difference in attitude toward “Northerners.”
