Your sedum blossoms are such a rich wonderful pink! Aren’t they just a gift at this time of year?
They certainly are as not much else is going on in the garden.
I always love these because they are not yellow or orange!
Nice to have a different color.
Sedum!!! Mine are starting to become pink, too. I only wish they looked as pretty as yours.
Hope your sedums get their pink on soon.
Gorgeous! 🤩
Thanks, Eliza!
Yes, very pretty.
Thanks, Barbara!
My favorite color!
Such a vibrant color.
They do put on a show this time of year, and we love it and appreciate it.
Sure do, especially as not much else is blooming.
Truly stunning!
Thanks so much!
Is this a good time to tell you sedums have edible leaves? Not just a thing of beauty but a salad too!
I did not know this and wouldn’t have guessed. Thanks for the info.
The ones with the pink flowers and big leaves are quite good – “pleasantly crunchy and succulent with a faint taste of avocado” as I say in notes on the Wild Food page. https://quercuscommunity.com/wild-food/ 🙂
I certainly learned something new today! Many thanks.
Whether that knowledge is actually useful is a different matter 🙂
No knowledge ever goes to waste. 🙂
Yes, it is strange how things do eventually come in useful.
I went digging around a field riser looking for a water leak underground and found it. I have an old beehive box covering the hole for now. I knew the old beehive box would come in handy! 🙂
Typical farmer!
This looks very attractive.
So nice to have in the fall
Indeed
that’s very pretty pink, a different shade of pink than ours here.
Interesting! Maybe the color varies with location. I think mine is autumn joy.
I never would have recognized these as sedum. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen them in a garden. We have a native species I’ve come across, but it’s yellow. This is pink-to-the-max!
Very common in Maine. Yes, pink to the max.
These are great for attracting butterflies and other insects, and they brighten up the garden too. Everyone’s a winner.
Especially when there’s not much else in bloom.
You’ve had beautiful color in the woods this summer!🙂
We had a good summer. Just the right amount of rain and sun.
Those are beautiful pink sedums, and I am glad to know now that they are edible!
Lovely pink.
