When I see stacks of wood, I think, “Winter warmth!”
Eliza, yes indeed. There is no cozier or warmer heat than wood. We have six cords this year, and we are planning on a cozy winter. Now, to get it stacked before the snow comes. Almost two thirds through.
Good exercise and a lovely day to do it!
Wordless maybe but not workless. Cutting and stacking wood and raking leaves are fall chores that can cause some muscle aches and pains. 🙂
