What is the white flower in the 3rd picture? Very pretty.
It is a dwarf balloon flower—platycodon grandiflorus is its official name. They have a tendency to flop all over the place, but with the dwarf varieties, it is charming rather than irritating. They do well in part sun/part shade. They really don’t spread. If they did, then I’d offer to give you some next spring.
Beauties
Thanks, Derrick! And right in my very own yard. I’m sure you must feel the same way about your won beauties.
Yes 🙂
I so enjoy your photos. Thank you.
Thanks, Beth.
Beautiful! We’ll have to get us some of those balloon flowers. They really are special. Thanks. XOXO
Thanks, Burni! I love balloon flowers, too. Plus, they actually do well at the little house in the big woods. A very big plus.
