Haven’t seen any, but I’ll keep a look out for them.
Are those ice fishing shacks out there?
They are indeed.
You surely have heard Garrison Keillor’s ice fishing bit from Lake Wobegon. I just listened again, and it’s wonderful.
Well spotted!
Thanks, Susan!
Haha, good one! 🙂
A little chuckle for cold January.
Wonderful! I hope this beautiful Winter weather will stay with you for a little while 🧡 xxx
Unfortunately, rain is forecast for the weekend. Ugh!
Funny!
Spring will be sprung in a few months! Come summer, I will be there with my younger grandson, enjoying the water and thankful for the life guards.
Righto!
Pass the goose fat!
Yes, yes!
Love this!
😉
You never can be too cautious!
Right?!
Thank you for the chuckle. 🙂
My pleasure!
Love the photo and that you have people out ice fishing, our lakes are still not ready .🙂
It’s been very cold here, which means everything is frozen. Unfortunately, it is supposed to rain this weekend. Ugh!
Looks cold there. Laurie! 🙂
Very cold!
Very very hard to imagine swimming there for a long time!
Not until June for the brave and July and August for the not so brave. 😉
I’d be a July swimmer!
Even then, pretty chilly!
Ha ha, thank you for that laugh!
My pleasure! 😉
Fish straight from the freezer
Fresh and cold!
🙂
Ice fishing was never a sport I understood. I grew up on a lake and some winters there’d be a guy out there, sitting on a bucket, with his line in a hole early in the morning, before it was light, and he’d be there all day. My dad used to say the guy either liked ice fishing a whole lot or had a very bad marriage. 😉
Not my idea of a good time, but each to his or her own, I guess.
😀 This is wonderful.
Good for a mid-winter giggle. 😉

Haven’t seen any, but I’ll keep a look out for them.
