You could fly away on the bird in the bottom photo. Cool boat!
It really is!
Wonderful birds Laurie, the seagull has found a great spot to watch out for paparazzi :o) xxx
Thanks, Xenia. That seagull might have to wait a while, quite a while. 😉
Lovely cool photographs.
We live in a town surrounded by water. Lovely every time of year.
Feathered or floating, they are all good. 🙂
They are indeed!
A grand selection.
You never know what you’re going to see on Maranacook Lake.
Now that last one looks fun!
Sure does! I’ve kind of been longing for one.
I Love the big swan being pushed out into the water!
Me,too!
I like that big white bird best, regardless of breed and make!
Would really like to take a spin on it. Fun!
Wonderful photos and I loved all three versions of enjoying a day at the lake!
Many thanks!
Beautiful photos. The last “bird” made me laugh out loud.
Glad you liked it!
Goofball : )
Very fun post! All wonderful birds and whimsical surprise at the end. I live where it is getting hotter and drier…dream of retiring and having another life living near a lake or river!
Thanks, Betsy! Come to central Maine. It is hot in the summer—I won’t deny it—but there is water everywhere.
That last one took me by surprise and made me laugh! 😀 Fun!
Glad you enjoyed it!
That last shot is a great capture! Of course, the genus is not rare, but I’ve never seen that particular species! Beautiful plumage – reminds me of the Norwegian blue parrot.

Fun, fun fun! Lovely birds on your wonderful lake!
Thanks, Clare! Very serendipitous to get all those shots in one outing.

Hope it stays that way for a good long time
It will at least for another month.
You do see a variety of birds! I like them all.
A wide variety. 🙂
